i have a shit tonne of handmade soap from one vendor that i traded for two coin purses way back in the early days of urban craft uprising. i was on a mission to find a soap like the gritty cinnamon soap of a retired politician i lived with briefly in vancouver after the basement suite i was renting flooded during college. i have yet to find any similar soap that’s up to snuff.
I’m taking a break from raking the wildflower meadow that I recently mowed, sitting in sunshine that’s warm enough to bare my arms, drinking a strong cup of tea, and reading your barely important things. Three hummingbirds are fighting over flowers, the roses are still blooming, a crow is chatting to me about what it saw as it flew in from the east. Barely important things are the glue that holds the very important things. Thanks for the reminder xo
